Newcomers helping newcomers: TRIEC launches PINs website - 2011-02-09

Newcomers helping newcomers: TRIEC launches PINs website - 2011-02-09

At an event at the Toronto Board of Trade on February 9th, TRIEC introduced a new website as part of the Professional Immigrant Networks initiative (PINs) to forge connections between immigrants, employers and community agencies - all with the goal of advancing immigrant employment.

NetworksforImmigrants.ca: Why you need to connect today

The new PINs website is your portal to over 30 immigrant networks operating in the Greater Toronto Area. No matter who you are, there is a reason to visit:

For skilled immigrants - Connecting with these networks can be a key strategy to achieve your employment goals.
For employers - Tap into networks representing a range of professions to connect to immigrant talent or leverage global expertise.
For community partners - Connect your clients or members to established professionals in their sector and promote your services.
With a PINs directory, event listings and a messaging function for posting jobs and other announcements, the PINs website is building connections for immigrant employment. Visit today at www.NetworksForImmigrants.ca.
