The new executive team have been elected to represent AREC in the 2011/2012 mandate:

Daniel presented the AREC objectives in 2011/2012:
1. AREC gives more value
a. New appealing activities - picnic, boat-tour, etc.
b. New programs to our members - they want answers to their situations and concerns
• Mentoring Pilot Program (TRIEC, JVS Toronto)
• HR organizations/HeadHunters data base + advertising
• Professional development
o How can we target IT professionals?
• VIPs (Leadership interview, etc.)
2. Increase with 50% the membership during the next two year's mandate -
a. Newcomers
b. Residents
c. New Grads (scholarship)
d. Referral program (Disc% or gifts, etc.)
3. Connecting more and even more
a. Increase networking opportunities
• With other Romanian organizations (RBNS, ARTA, etc.) and other affiliated communities http://www.arec.ca/affiliations/
• With Eng/Prof organizations (SME, PMI, PEO, ABMP, CAPM, etc.)
