Turning Work into Play
Insights into the Science of Optimal Performance

We spend more than half of our waking time at work. The work-related stress is strongly connected with health and emotional problems, negative view and lower satisfaction with life. Knowing how to turn work into a rewarding part of your life will have positive ripple effects into your sense of happiness and the happiness of those around you.

Optimal Performance Training Objectives
• Find out what neuroscience reveals us about optimal performance
• Learn the Laws of Performance Psychology
• Learn how to take control over your work and your life

You will be presented with theoretical and practical ways of improving your personal and professional performance and success. The workshop will cover the basic principles of the connection between brain-emotions-performance, based on the latest research in neuroscience and psychology, as well as the practical applications of these findings.

Crossing Your Bridges

Sophia Barna is a psychotherapist and mental health counsellor in Toronto. Originally a psychologist in Romania, Sophia has continued her education in Canada with a Master in Psychology and Education and another one in Clinical Social Work, at University of Toronto.
She has been practicing for the past 20 years in the area of Psychotherapy and Optimal Learning and Performance. Sophia is the developer of Academic Enhancement Therapy (AET) and she is an international presenter and trainer. More recently Sophia offered trainings on Psychotherapy and Optimal Performance to professionals in Ecuador, Turkey and Israel.
