Lubrication and Cooling Systems & Components

Purpose of Seminar:

Being able to understand, design, engineer, operate, maintain and troubleshoot Lubrication and Cooling systems and equipment and starts with simply understanding how and why all the various components work. We will provide you the basic building blocks and information you need to become proficient in working with industrial lubrication and Cooling systems.

Who should attend this Seminar?

This seminar is open to everybody who wants to attend but, will be beneficial to anyone who is involved with fluid power design, engineering, production, controls, maintenance, inspection reports and troubleshooting working for engineering firms, industrial plants, mobile equipment, fluid power distributors, utilities or commercial facilities.

Seminar Outline / Agenda

14. Overview of Lubrication, Grease and Cooling systems: applications and industries
15. Lubrication/Grease, Cooling Systems: Identify components and their schematic symbols
16. Pressure and flow in Lubrication and Cooling systems
17. Select the correct components: reservoir, pumps, motors, valves, manifolds, actuators, filters and piping to obtain desired results
18. Select hose, fittings, safety and instrumentation components (pressure, flow, temperature filter gages, switches & transmitters)
19. Diagnose common Lubrication Grease and Cooling systems & components problems
20. Filtration and contamination in Lubrication and Cooling systems
21. Lubrication oils and coolants: brands, types, available sizes, handling, safe disposal
22. Basic Troubleshooting of Lubrication and Cooling Systems.: Noisy, Cavitations, No Syst. Press., Erratic Actuators, Run Hot, Leaks
23. Hydraulic most common brands: Parker, Graco, Ingersol Rand, Hoffman.
24. Open questions session
